While you are saying "welcome" it's time for us to say "bye bye". Vasco, Cillian, Tess and I are off to Namibia the day after tomorrow. I had my last day at work today - and already business is way behind me. Can't wait to get there.
The battle of the photographers is on, though. Intend to get some good nature shots in - will obviously all be totally different from yours, much less green and lush, possibly more animals (we hope). Invested in a fancy zoom lens the other day and am fully equipped now. Or as the man in Gunn's put - "With that lens you can stay 9 times further away from the lions than with your old lens..." A selling point, I have to say!
We'll be back 18th of August - when are you? Hope to catch up with you guys when you are back then. If what Paddy says is true, there are a lot of internet cafés in Namibia and I can still follow your antics from our holiday. Maybe I should follow your example and start a travel blog of my own *scratcheshead*. Well, maybe a bit too ambitious for a 3-week holiday.
Anyway, take care and hope to see you in August.
