1. For all you blog swats out there, how many countries in total have Joe and Sue visited since leaving Dublin last October?

2. Joe has size 45 shoes, compared to most Bolivians and Peruvians shoes like these are only sold to circus clowns and therefore are hard to find. In how many shoe shops in Bolivia and Peru did Joe get laughed at, before he could find a pair of shoes big enougth to buy?

3. Climbing equipment is very heavy and we are carrying quite a lot of it, however we have lost some weight (personnal) since we left, to balance this off we have shed some clothes etc from our rucksacks aswell as purchased some souveniers. What is the current total weight of Joe and Sue and their rucksacks? Answers in kilos please!

To answer the questions leave a comment below with your name, winners of the competition will be announced on the blog, closing date for entries is the end of June. One entry per person, terms and conditions apply!!!

Hi Joe & Sue
Cillian Here - Tess and I are staying at Woodenbridge with Paddy, Lesley an Ollie. Thanks for answering my question about the slid - the video clip was funny.
Here are my quiz answers:
1. 9 countries so far (10 if u include Ireland)
2. 9 shoeshops and 1 clown outfitters - but I guess it wasn't just the size was a problem. Joe is very fussy about shoe colurs too.
3. We did a test where Paddy carried me on the scales and Lesley carried Tess on the scales and we reckon that would be close to the answer - so Joe and bag combined = 135kg, Sue and bag combined = 90kg.
Looking forward to my prize (remember points are being counted in the best uncle competition)
OK You two.
Cillian, Tess, Ollie, Paddy and Lesley ahve a quiz for you.
There are 6 questions. The 1st 5 are 1 question from each of us. Here they are:
1. How many pheasants has Molly caught in the fields around Woodenbridge?
2. How many fat pancakes did we cook for breakfast?
3. Who's going to win Euro 2008?
4. Name 3 of Bob the Builder's friends?
5. How many doors (not including cupboards / fridges / cookers etc.) are there in 36 Fitzwilliam Square (not including the stables)?
And the last question....
Identify who wrote each of the above questions?
The prize is 2 packs of Tayto and 2 cans of Guinness on your return.
Answers on a postcard to 36 Fitzwilliam square - no limit to number of entries.

Oh, Cillian only now showed me the blog quiz. Cool thing. They answered so nicely, I think I will not, so there is not too much competition for the mystery prizes.
When are you guys coming back? Will we see you at all or does it overlap with Namibia (25/7 - 18/8)? Cillian / Tess will be in Germany for 3 weeks before we set off so I am looking forward to some weeks with no obligations. Could go partying every night... like I am doing at the mo. Becoming a regular at the Sugar Club ;-), dancing until daylight.

Now i've got a question for ya. As an engineer when stacking boxes, in a garage say, should you either a: pack the large light boxes with space in them at the bottom & the small heavy boxes on top. OR b: pack the small heavy boxes at the bottom with the larger lighter boxes on top?
I'll buy a pint/mineral/chocolate bar (your choice) to anyone who can guess how many books ended up on the floor in my garage. ;-)
